Help, Car recommendations for Solo Female Driver

Need car recommendations for a woman travelling alone extensively in Lahore. Have a decent mechanic but do not have the capacity to deal with repairs/modifications. Currently driving a Corolla 2017 GLI. Budget range between 30 - 33 lakhs. Need something super reliable, not too small(like picanto etc). Will be buying myself so concerned about being scammed when looking at Japanese imported cars - have been recommended the Nissan Note E-power medalist. Would really appreciate recommendations and things to consider when purchasing.

Imported Japanese cars need in depth research and one has to extract it's history from auction house websites in order to 100% know what you're getting. Most of these Hybrids in Pakistan with dealers are accidented with major repairs done and meters reversed back to 20-30,000 kms. 2-3 of my relatives have been in the same situation with Vezel, Aqua and Axio Hybrid so telling from experience. Anyways, Yaris is a good option in this budget. Gives decent fuel average and more feature loaded compared to GLi 2017. You can get a used full option Yaris Ativ X 1.5 CVT or a brand new 1.3 Ativ Yaris. Honda City is also an option but not worth it in my opinion due to higher price and outdated generation compared to international market.
(Not saying that JDM Hybrids are bad but dealers here have ruined their reputation, if one can get a good example, nothing better than it.)

Alsvin is also good car with best features but can't recommended it as the company is new and it will take some time to resolve its resale and parts availability issues..

No problem. Haven't experienced Alsvin yet but looks like a good car from what I've heard about it. Only issue is resale and Changan's viability to support the car in the long term in terms of maintenance and spare parts.

Honda city imo. Nice modern shape and decent size car with extraordinary spacious car. Traffic in lahore is chowked most of the time. Good fuel average also. Honda is reliable car. Worth buying now as the price will go up in future.

For solo female drivers it’s better to go for brand new pakistani car in order to keep yourself headache free for next 3-4 years atleast or more if driven/ maintained from dealership carefully. My wife drives solo aswell so i can understand the pain. In your budget you have only 3 options. City 1.2 CVT or yaris1.3 CVT or if you are inclined towards hatch back than new swift. In my opinion Go for 1.2 CVT honda city or if you can increase your budget go for 1.5 Aspire CVT. everycar here is outdated, over rated and overpriced. Buy Any car But go for pakistani/ brand new.

A automatic/CVT Swift or a Yaris should be your short list.

You can even opt for mid range variants in both the cars falling in your budget.

If you are looking for something fancy then top of the line City goes beyond your budget.

Hybrids are a no/no maintenance and parts are a pain.

With local car you can leave it at any dealership to get it fixed, tension free minimum 3 years.
