Wsalam. Allah ka shukr ha bhai. Yar sunne men araha ha k SOPs k sath kholne ka plan kr rahe hain k apni negative Corona report le k aega hr tourist. Lekin filhal officially announce nahi hua. I have plans to Visit Rama Lake, Deosai, Skardu and adjoining areas when tourism is open, I have a few Questions if someone can give answers.

What is road condition of Gilgit to Skardu. Is it complete by now?
I want to hire Jeep from Astore to Skardu Via Deosai. Is it possible to find a driver to bring my car from Astore to Skardu and deliver me there (of-course on payment). My car is with Automatic Transmission (Altis 1.6).

The road is not complete yet . Many parts have been metalled but still a lot of parts are to be repaired. Otherwise frequent blockages due to repair work are common
Yes you may find a driver. Ask the jeep driver to arrange one for you. I can give you contact of a good driver from Astore
