One more question, From islamabad to naran which way is best, muree to abotabad or Texla Haripur Haveliyan Abbotabad.

You can not compare them as both of them are beautiful places, . But Neelum Valley tour be from Kutton to Taobat where as Trip to Hunza means covering Naran, Babusartop, Chillas, Hunza all the way till Khunjrab .
For neelum from Kutton to Taobat can be done easily in 3-4 Nights.

From Islamabad to Naran, texilla Haripur route is prefered by divers mostly, maybe because VIA murree you will have to climb more height which means less fuel avg. or face traffic .

Yes, both destination deserve a visit, but Neelum Valley(Azad Kashmir) is more close to heaven like beauties and silence.
Murree to Abbottbad is best tourist route in my opinion, because this route is surrounded by a dense forest, an adventurous and worth travelling route.
But as Saad said that for fuel avg, you should adopt the route from Haripur-Taxilla.

Neelum valley is jam packed now a days.
There is no comparison between hunza and neelum valley.
Hunza has vast landscape, huge barren mountains (mostly) and many other things.. whereas neelum valley is narrow shaped valley though it opens vast at few spots like sardari (few kms before taobutt) etc. Although its much greener than hunza valley.
Hunza is easily accessible through KKH, and there is no comparison of KKH. Its a perfect road to drive on.
Neelum valley's road is fine uptill Sharda with many bad patches and 2 3 landslidings. From sharda you'll need 4x4 jeep for further travel till taobutt

Hi guys, this is my first ever post in any kind of forums so sorry if im posting in wrong category. im planning to visit hunza with my wife(my first ever trip further than babusar top) in mid sep. I want to ask 1.is sep a good time to travel through babusar pass route?
2. What will be the room rates in good hotels like eagle nest or serena or any other good options.
3. Will it be ok to take my new honda city? I have experience driving till babusar top and a lots of trips to galiyat and naran side. Im a careful driver. Will it be safe to take my car. And how about the road conditions suspension tu nae faragh ho jaye ge? And security conditions?
4. Ok so this is serious topic but i had to confirm from people who have visited hunza. I have heard that most of the population of hunza and surroundings is ismailis(agha khani), is halal meat available there? Some molvi friends told me that they are not muslims so meat is not halal? Please anyone
5. Im planning a trip for 12 days. 4 days travelling 4 days in hunza and surroundings(please advise on areas to visit other than hunza, we can extend Our stay in hunza to five days if there are good places we can visit) 2days stay in naran and 1 day in nathiagali (ill make a detail plan near sep).
6. Please advise about the budget im thinking of 150k. Will that be enough keeping in mind good hotels like eagles.

1. Yes September is good time to visit. Rush nahi hoga aram se rahenge aur ghumen phirenge.
2. Hotel rates are reasonable in Hunza. Specially in September the rates will be coming down as peak season would be off. You may find rooms in the range 2500 to 10,000
3. Honda city will do it easily . Other than a bad patch near chillas all is clear. Security conditions are fine no issues as such.
4. No need to listen to molvis. Ismailis Allah or Rasool Allah dono ko mante hain bhai
5. You may visit Nagar valley (Chalt, Hoper glacier, Minapen etc). Visiting Naltar and Naltar Lakes would be great. Attabad Lake, Passu glacier , Passu cones, Khunjerab border are the major attractions in Hunza.
6. Budget is more than enough.

1. Can City 14 or Gli 15 make it?

2. Which is the best time to leave from Lahore?

3. Should I carry some extra petrol with me from Abotabad?

4. I am 20 and my brother is 16. Is it safe to go alone? (I HAVE GOT CNIC, LICENSE AND PARENT'S PERMISSION. I ALSO HAVE 5 TIMES OF EXPERIENCE OF DRIVING FROM LAHORE - MURREE - ABOTABAD - MURREE - LAHORE. ALSO I HAVE GOT 2 SPEEDING TICKETS AT 135 - 140 KMH)

5. How much cash should I take with me? And does it worth keeping credit/debit cards me?

Yes both can do easily.Better take corolla as it has better suspension and ground clearance
It will take around 10 to 12 hrs from lahore to naran so start accordingly
No need to take extra fuel you can fill tank at abbotabad or mansehra and then at chillas.you may take an extra can if u r extra careful
No problems in travelling alone its all safe
Driving till khunjerab is no big deal just be attentive and dont over speed
For 2 persons 35000 cash would be enough. Atms work in gb but credit cards dont

You dont need to take ferry for crossing attabad lake anymore as the newly constructed 27 Km road having 5 Tunnels that are 7 km long is operational now

Its better to book in advance but now a days as the season is on its peak you might not get a booking but do give it a try
There are many hotels in gilgit and Hunza with rates starting from 2500 to 15,000. (rates may be higher nowadays so 2500 is quite difficult to find)
From abbotabad to Khunjerab if you are going through Babusar you will cover Naran, Lulusar Lake, Babusar top, Nanga Parbat view point, Hunza Karimabad Altit and Baltit forts, Attabad Lake, Passu cones, Passu glacier and then pak china border. You may go to Naltar from Hunza but u will have to hire a jeep.
One thing you will face a lot of traffic on at Naran and Babusar these days and all the hotels will be jam packed
