Jo log is dfa Skardu plan Kr rahe hain , Skardu road under construction ha aur uspe boht he bura hal ha. Mera cousing kal almost 11 hrs men gilgit se skardu phncha ha. Friday ko construction ka kaam nahi hota so friday is a better day to travel. This is the current situation , I will update when the season is on peak, but i can tell that the road project is a big one and will take a lot of time

Went there in last week amd road was in worst condition no doubt. We travelled at night. As You said Friday is best to travel or in normal days after 5pm.

No I've been there on a trip. Covered gilgit skardu ( Manthoka Hushe Gangche shigar khaplu katpana etc in skardu and them hunza khunjerab then from gilgit to yasin phandr ishkoman etc and them back to pindi.

Ameen aur shukria.....Jahan tk Skardu road ki baat ha Jese hmare haalat hain lgta ha kafi time lg jaega bnte bnte..Lekin shukr ha k kaam shuru hogya ha..Mene is road pa 4 ghnte men Gilgit - Skardu kia ha aur ab 8,8 ghnte lg jate hain...

Link to a good hotel in Gilgit..no that i am marketing for them but i have stayed there and found them to be very reasonable. Good food too
