Hi
I am a Formula One fan and i m desperately willing to buy a kart. I have two options:
1. Buy a go kart(a fast one). It may or may not be branded.
2. Make my own go kart by first buying the parts and then taking them to a good mechanic to assemble it.
Now i want your opinion on which method is cheaper, reliable, durable and which will make a fast go kart (i dont want good looking fancy karts, I just want a fast go kart with good performance).
I want a manual go kart which is as low as possible for increased downforce.(see the one in the picture below for reference)
If you can then please provide a link for a kart if u think i should choose option 1.
If u think option 2 then please tell me from where should I buy the parts and to which mechanic should i take the parts to for assembling.
If u think option 2 is better then please(if u can) give me an estimate of how much the whole thing from parts to assembling is going to cost me.
