I bought my first car 1 month ago, which was second hand wagon R 2017 with excellent engine condition.
Because it was my first car I didn't know any A B C of how to maintain good condition in car.
After 1 month I went to Suzuki Motors workshop for tuning and oil change etc stuff, just because they are authentic and they know what they are doing cuz i have no idea which thing was good in my car or not. they did oil change, air filter change, plug change and full tuning of the car
Tyres were in pretty bad shape so i went to a shop and they suggestd some tyres and i picked one randomly having no idea what the hell I am doing.
Two things happened after 1 month in same day, full tuning, and tyres change.
and suddenly i felt huge difference in fuel consumption, 1000rs = 8.7L fule, and it's all gone in 70km distance
I went again to suzuki workshop they said first thing is your clutch plates are in pretty bad condition and second the tyres you installed are 175 in width while originals are in 135 width this is why your car is getting this bad average.
Please tell me does tyres with 175 width in wagon R actually bad for average and does clutch plates issue can really cause this much jump down in fuel average?
this change of before and after tuning and oil change (which was done on same day) was so drastic.
before i was getting pretty good average like 600+KM in full tank of fuel and now on 502km reserve light start blinking.
if there is any issue please let me know, as you can easy to tell i had no idea what to do before i done this all to my car.
