Hi Guyz,
I am using Honda CD-70 (Model-91). I am fedup with its head light problem. Every time i put a new buld in frony head light it fuses because of high speed or giving full race.
Therefore, I request you guyz to help me and solve my problem

Hey There...its a common problem....ive faced it as well

here is wot i did

1stly change the inner FOCUS of ur headlamp....get a STEEL or CERAMIC one..
then change ur bulb to a HALOGEN or other higher output bulb(STANLEY or AUTOLITE)...make sure u get the correct version in voltage(6volts or 12volts according to ur power requirements)

plzz do change the FOCUS b4 u change the bulb coz HALOGEN bulbs produce a lot of heat... n it will melt ur origiinal plastic FOCUS...

this will allow u to have a better throw of ligtht on the road...n ur bulb wont blow out that quikly..

Generally old bikers discard the batteries or the batteries are dead since pakistani motor cycles work perfectly even without a battery.....

in this situation the magneto coils act as dynamo to head light as with higher speeds the volt at times exceeds 6v and (I) fuzes

Solutions(DOs):
new battery if affordable
try using a 9v but higher wattage then original... bulb
a small resistance in series to bulb
get regulator repaired or replaced

other solutions(DONTs)
wind proof laaltan
torch
drive under street lights
use night vision googles
etc,etc.....

jakar 12/35 ka bulb khareedo 35 ya 40 Rs ka ayega aur wo laga doo battery nahi bhi hogi to bhi nahi ureyga

dear sheheryaar regarding head light problem of your bike. The problem is that you have not installed a battery in your bike that is why when on high accelator all the current produced by magnet comes to bulb and its fused, i advice you to install a bulb 35/35 Watt and it will not fuse even on high speed. otherwise you have to istall a battery and charger, as on high speed extra current will go to charge battery through charger and you will be able to use 25/25 Watt bulb.
