Help: Mechanic for Vitz

Hey All,

Can anybody recommend a good mechanic for Toyota Vitz, 1 NZ FE, 1500 CC engine. I recently went to Toyota Township, but came back dissatisfied.

I guess the car has electronic settings, for which I need help.

I disconnected the battery and installed a new one. The car started some missing afterwards, but was kind of Okay. now the Rpm hovers between 600 to 800. Also, lately i have started to notice some residue in the exhaust. Before my last oil change, it was not there. (I believe the oil is a little more than the full mark on the dipstick). Also, there is a little strange noise when the fan starts.

The issue is not huge, but need to get it done with. (For Mental satisfaction also).

Somehow, I didnt feel that Toyota gave sufficient time or care to the car.

Go to Suntech Auto Workshop in the line of Toyota Township. It is near the TCS Courier Office on Pecco Road.

on my friend's car we removed a fuse to reset the ecu, that resulted in a check light from the cvt and required a calibration from a scan tool, i suspect something similar for your car.

the oil might be over filled or if you are having bad luck it can be a dented oil sump (under the engine).

the fan noise could be something stuck near the fan or maybe a bearing
