I am driving Mitsubishi EK Wagon (2015 model) registered in 2017. I am using this car for more than 2 years and there has never been any sort of mechanical issue at all. The drive is perfect and I never had to worry about anything.
A few days ago, my car's original battery died out (because it had been 2 years) and I replaced the battery. Since then, the temperature warning light is on. I got it checked with 2 experts who said there is nothing wrong with the engine. Radiator, coolant is fine, no pipe leakages, no boiling water etc. They said sometimes when you replace the battery, you have to reset the settings. So they did it and the temperature light was gone.
But today again there was a red temperature warning light. Did anyone had a similar experience?
The drive is still fine but the temperature light coming back again and again is worrying. Can it be because the new battery isn't compatible? Or is it possible that something might have gone wrong with temperature sensor while changing the battery?
What should I do?
