Help Needed: 2007 Cultus - Intermittent Horn & High Beam Failure

Hi everyone,

I'm hoping to get some advice on a couple of frustrating electrical issues I'm having with my 2007 Suzuki Cultus (the carburetor model). Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Here's what's happening:

Issue 1: The Horn Works Intermittently
The horn is completely unpredictable. I've taken it to a mechanic/electrician, and they manage to get it working, but the fix only lasts for a few hours. The strange part is that it will often start working again on its own if either:

The car has been running for about 15-20 minutes.

I take the horn cover on the steering wheel off and put it back on.

Issue 2: The High Beams Don't Work
My high beams have stopped working entirely. When I pull the stalk to activate the high beams, the blue indicator light on the dashboard turns on as it should, but the headlights themselves completely turn off, leaving me with no lights at all.

My Questions:

• Has anyone faced similar issues? What was the solution?

• Could someone please confirm where I can find the fuse box that contains the fuses and relays for the headlights?

Tape ustaad electricians will generally twist and tape wires together. This is not suitable for automotive wiring, especially under the hood. The twisted wires loosen and the adhesive begins to degrade from the moment you start driving. This generally produces these intermittent issues.

Clean the contacts at the horn terminals and the horn switch at the steering wheel, ensure cleanliness and continuity at all connections in the circuit, crimp connectors properly, join wires with solder or a proper crimp, cover the joint with heatshrink tubing, and you'll never have these problems again.

Speaking from personal experience with at least a dozen "electricians" while facing exactly the same problems as you, i.e. high beams not working, horn not working.
