duplicate plates are just replacement pieces of metal, it's not like they have a serial number on them. and there is no record of you getting new ones issued.
seriously, take the UK plate as an example, it's a piece of plastic which can be changed at any time (like the old PK plates). now ours are nothing like the american or swiss plates which are issued by the state, ours are made in some random place and are of the cheapest possible quality. now take ISB plates as an example, they are inferior to all other PK plates, now why would it matter if an IDN number car has plastic plates on it made at a gas station or of an HA series car has duplicates plates,.. plates are plates, they break, they wear out, they fade, they fall off.
common sense isn't too common in PK.
buyers are idiots in PK, they think a car with shiny paint and 12000kms on the clock is perfect but a car with fading paint and 70000kms is not good,.. even though the shiney shiney car will have been clocked back a few lacs and a fresh respray.
here it's all on face value,... and most cars have a very questionable past but peopel are so crooked that they'll do what it takes to sell a car for whatever they want,.. and they know how to play off the buyers fears.
the inportant things like checking if all the mechanica bits are working etc are ignored,.. but as long as the car has shiney pain and a clean interior it MUST be clean.
give me a break!
