Help needed! Civic 2004 auto transmission failure

My exi 2004 prosmatic is playing up with transmission. Feels like it's slipping. Let me explain you briefly;
1- To start with, it used to take a while to engage in R in the morning. However worked on RPM nearly 4. D was OK.
2- changed engine, changed ATF with ZIC ATF. Worked fine for about 15 days except above stated problem.
3- couple days before, suddenly it refused to accelerate while I was overtaking a car. Seemed like it became neutral. Covered a few Kms after this, and I had to stop because it was completely out of power. Switched off engine, turned on again, and it worked fine.
4- now using it, and observing there is a slip when shifting 1-2 and 2-3 (up shifting). Rest of the gears are normal. No problems in downshift.

Please advise the diagnosis and fix.

The problem is ZIC ATF. Always use genuine Honda ATF oil.

Your transmission is failing. Have ur car checked by scanner and also check the solenoids if they are working or not. Ask the guy with scanner to test those. Next step is to clean those solenoids... Easy to do job. Take them out and clean them. Now check the transmission, if working fine than DRAIN AND REFILL WITH HONDA ATF. If it isn't working fine, than better start saving money for change of gearbox.

@babarhyd Autoworkshops don't listen , they just advise the whole overhaul and wait for our green light!! I'm in Lahore.

The ECU in honda cars doesn't like any ATF other then original Honda ATF. But I think you can not simply drain the oil completely. I changed 2.5 liters and then changed again after few thousand kms.
