Help needed for world’s most powerful car audio full-range amplifier

i guess we all are confusing the poster n its better to keep the remaining debate within urself. Its a good amp n if used correctly, will do wonders for u compared to other market amps ...!!

to keep it simple, putting 750rms woofer on this amp is not advisable. u could keep the gains as low as u want.
but this is a mismatch.

its just like saying i will get a 4000cc car and to save gas i will drive it at a speed of not more then 40km/h. at one point of time , u will rev up and acc. and tht is the time when ur petrol will go down.

i couldnt find a better example . anyway i am out good luck.

surely lower setting will help you to get less power from amp , therefore subs wont blow
according to enerlevel , what ever he uses he hits its maximum output
0.5 ohms , 1 ohms is his favorite impedance to get all power
he view is also correct , putting 10000Wrms , consuming 1000W , 9000w when to use?

so according to ur thing , amplifier will be 50% relaxing if you use 1500w (2 12" mtx8000)
still you have 50% more power save in your bank ,
some time crank it up with more bigger subs

I have seen many ppl here on PW using 2500 WRMS amps on poor 300+ - rms subs such as 3012 and 308.... they didnt get cooked.... ?!!? Saying that why one cant run a 750rms sub on almost the same rms amp..?!?! tough quenstion naa.....???

yeah that poor 3012 or 308 were FOUR not on single 400Wrms with 2500Wrms
400wrms each (500Wrms bearing point )
1600Wrms load was powered by 1800~2200Wrms amp ,
that 25d required 200A of current continuously to deliver such 2500wrms power

even i have use f-25d for test on 2 308d2s , yes was cooking sub cause gain set to lower sensitivity
Conclusion : Gain control power by adjusting the ratio between
input prevolts and input sensitivity

f2500d is just an e,g of 2500Wrms amplifier

btw people are using F2500D on 2x subs too, a few on my non PW members are also using it

2gt5 ki dhagiyan urh gaingi 2 gt5 , 700wrms is more then enough
+ these are entry level subs there is no way to power by double

yara do u know that new accord does more than 120 in fifth gear at 1500 rpm? thats the rpm at which some of the normal engines idle... and waisay yeah its going to drink petrol if u rev it but its not going to blow the engine.

Sir If properly installed a F2500D can blow a 15" Type R easily and I have witnessed it live (thought to take up pictures but that was not decent to do so).

A Type R can easily take 1000-1500W RMS for some time.

Unlike HU's, Components and SUBs, AMPS are all about efficiency and performance.

A good component/SUB/HU can show its potential but an AMP is useless if it cannot deliver with minimum amount of power.

That is the sole reason why Alpine PDX, Pioneer RS and JL HD AMPS costs twice of other AMPs having twice and 4 times the power.

Either way, if the poster will give the AMP full power, it will (and should) blow the SUBs in no time, no matter how good the enclosure is.

On another note if the poster will keep the gains low and deliberately does not manage it to pump full power its just a waste of money and space.
Else if the poster will not upgrade the electricals seriously as @geforce has suggested or the SUBs, then its a serious mismatch.

However, since the poster is getting a competition AMP at a steal away price and he can always upgrade the SUBS to unleash the full potential, its a much better buy.

i really dont know wat u guys are up too on the other end....... since its over the internet conversation it makes it difficult to physically examine the system. anyway, the last time i checked 2500d on 2 308d2, the coils started to smell in hardly 4 mins of play time. and it was geforce's car.
also i have played 2 alpine type r on 2500d. they dont like it.they get pretty warm in hardly no time.
ahmer played 1600D on 15" type R @ 1ohms, u could clearly see the woofer not liking tht much of power.

moreover in khi. no one likes the way gt-5 sounds but ppl away from khi. seems to luv this woofer ....

do go and see the way these mtx 8000 subs are built. once u see their built quality, u will never even dream to get mtx again!

assume
100a and 120a battery
, no way it can support 2500 for a long time
cause amplifier rating 14.4v operation voltage will give power only on that voltage below it power drops
so only alternator can support continuously (keeping RPM , required torque , Alternator`s efficiency in MIND )
while batteries 12v source , a load(amp) rating 14.4v will eat that quickly
as compare to 12v load (source operating voltage )

config matters on stock
how much amps alternator , how much amps battery

i have 70ah battery , 65 ah alternator
my system starts to trip after 45 mins of continuous bass tracks ,
battery need to be recharge in 3~8 mins again

Conclusion : you can get power from your electrical upgrade

Continuously , alternator powers is 5~10% is greater then amplifiers required current i.e look on fuse ratings (no battery involve )
using amp @ full throttle
to handle 200a rated amp , alternator should be like 210 ,220 amp etc

Termporary : if alternator rating amp is lesser then amplifier`s fuse rating or required current , battery will start to drain slowly
more battery ( more current ) more duration

yaar i am not getting into the debate of what sounds good and what doesnt and who like what or who doesnt like it. what i cant understand is that we all agree that while spl has a kick a** system running on 2500d, he has two subs that are rated even below 308s, has done big 3 and only other upgrade is a bigger alternator, yet he has managed to keep his subs in pristine condition while in your oppinion they should have blown by now. they dont smell or anything and they play beautifully. how can it be that his subs are not blowing. and its not like he plays the subs at low volume.

no wonder ppl like it here. they take the beating and dont smell...

bro i know about car electrical, batteries their AH and CCA ratings, not new to me.

the thing is if people can run F2500D, 2500 watts rms amp in stock or minor upgraded cars (i believe not even a 120 amp alternator is enough for JBL GTI) then why cant a JBL GTi run in the same car which has a F2500D installed???

I agree we need major electrical upgrades for powering a beast rated at 3000wrms.

My question: If ppl here can successfully install a SA F2500D then why cant a JBL GTi?

because its a class AB amplifier
consumes a lot more current that class D
2ndly
for bigger amplifier , you always need to concern with ur electrical system
other wise , lack of current , which makes voltage drop
will ruin your amplifier`s durability

My 2005 Civic PROSMATEC has a 45AH AGS liquid battery with a CCA of not more then 280A.

The alternator is rated at 90A @ 5,000RPM.

I cannot even handle a single 308 with a proper VTREK mono (speedometer and headlights start to dim at each bass note), even with a 4AWG Fusion Big 3, continuous playback is not possible without starting the engine.

This JBL is very good but its not efficient, no class AB full channel can be more efficient then a class D dedicated mono, even if its from a JBL or a flagship GTI product .

A JL audio HD AMP is efficient, it gives 750W RMS @ 4 ohms, returns a 110 DBa signal and it does that with a 60A fuse.

A mainstream Kenwood X1200 needs just a 30A*3 fuse for 1200W CEA rated.

and an Alpine V2000 can deliver 2000W @ 2 ohms for just 180A.

They are all low noise AMPS, real competition AMps like Kicker Warhouse has a 250A rating and everyone knows what it is capable of.

Sir the best alternator I have seen was in a 100 grands BMW 760LI, rated at 160A, the biggest I have seen in Pakistan is that 110A @enerlevel<SCRIPT type=text/javascript> vbmenu_register("postmenu_2464594", true); </SCRIPT> showed.

The only things left are some serious Optima yellow top batteries and multiple stinger 2 Farad capacitors, possibly a digital or hybird one that can cost a fortune.
