Aoa.I have a suzuki swift 2011 PakistaniIts gear knob is damaged. The black plastic cover is broken and knob’s metal part is exposed Now i wanted to replace the knob but i am not able to dismantle it. I have tried to unscrew it and also tried pull it out But it haven’t moved a bit Can anyone guide me if its screw type or press fitted ? Anyone here who have replaced the knob of pakistani swift ?Thanks

Brother i have tried all the methods mentioned on youtube.There are videos for both screw type and press fit type But none worked on my knob
If none worked then maybe the mechanism is stuck somehow. Maybe you can take your car to a car accessories shop, their workmen can usually handle such issues.
Yeah brother i was planning to visit some shop but i wanted to know the mechanism so that when they are working on it , i should know that they are putting force in right direction. Don’t want them to do hit n trail they might damage something else.
