Help needed vry urgently plzzz

Hi all Pakwheelers..Jus bought 06 Altis Auto CNG 5 dyz back wid 46K on the ODO.

The problem is dat car runs fine on CNG bt soon u convert it to patrol it mixes with CNG n engine turns OFF. Changd some self startyer system as recomemde by the USTAAD n other stuff bt the problem is the same n also while idiling on patrol car turns off bt on CNG its OK. Chkd it wid toyota ppl here in multan bt those stupids instead of giving a solution changd the fuel pump n pipes n other stuff n disconnectd the CNG n askd to drive the car purely on patrol dn knw y they did dat n also make a bill of 5k jus 4 nothn:(.. So all u pakwheelers out there plz help me wat to do wid it as i ve to leave tonite 4 islamabad plz telme if any real CNG expert in islamabad.Help wud b very very much appreciated.

Based on your description I can think of the following thing.
There is a valve on the CNG system which turns itself off blocking the flow of gas into the engine. And since you are saying the engine stalls because of mixing of gas and petrol. I assume this valve is faulty. Wait for some CNG experts to provide you with more authentic version, as I dont use CNG.

There is a relay in CNG sys which cuts off fuel when you switch to CNG and vice versa. Either it requires replacement or it is not getting current properly. Go to any shop which installs electronic CNG and they will solve your problem. At times the switch also gives the same problem. The check is simple turn off CNG from cylinder or kit and if the car runs fine on petrol than the problem is definitely as explained. You can get it done in Multan as well

Thanks for your reply. Lemme explain a bit more. The CNG kit actaully installes two valves on your fuel system which are used for conversion from cng to petrol and vice versa. That is one opens up and other shuts off. My thinking is if only the gas valve developes a fault and doenst close properly. It will certainly give you trouble when you try to run on petrol as you will then be running on a mixture of both fuel. However since the petrol valve is working fine, the petrol shuts itself off when on cng and the car runs fine. The toyota people disconnected your CNG so there is not question of mixing of both fuel now, hence your car is running fine.

Is the CNG on or off and now have u tried running it on CNG, i mean after the tunning and stuff.

emulator problem - it is not disconnecting the fuel / CNG properly.

Check your switch petrol/cng.

Take it off from the jack ,and put the switch away. Take any wire or paper pin , The jack coming from inside of the console pull it a little .. there are some colored wires , put in the one end of the wire in red wire jack. the other end in yellow wire jack .. Your car will be on petrol .. check if evrything is normal ... then if it drives fine with this on petrol ... then ,,, take out the wire for a while let the fuel to be used ... then put one end in red the other in blue wire jack .. and the car will be on Gas ... IF this works then its a faulty switch .. change it ...

the toyota ppl have disconnct the gas supply n car works only on Petrol so em comin 2 islamabad tonite..Can any one recommend any good CNG expert in islamabad who can set the CNG cz DUMB toyota technicians here in multan were nt able to trace the actual fault so they took the ez way of completely dis connctng CNG

as far as i ve observd n toyota ppl also told me the same thng is dat the LAMBDA sensor of the car is not properly tuned...So i wz wanderin who can tune LAMBDA to its optimum level in islamabad or in lahore aswell
