Help needed!

AOA,
So lately i've noticed that the idle rpm of my dad's car is kinda high and the heat gauge never reaches the normal operating temperature
Background:-
Daihatsu Terios Kid 1998 having a 1.0L Toyota EJ-VE engine and original 4 speed A/T (AWD i think)
I made a start up video showing the idle rpm and took a few pics too

so is this idle speed normal or is it high ?
And about the temperature the came from Sadar (40-45km drive to my home) about 20 min before i took the pics and made the video so shouldn't the needle be somewhat above ?
the fan is direct and i dont think it has a T-stat

RPMs are direclty related to coolant temperature which is directly proportional to Engine Temperature. RPMs are high for normal idling but when you see it in relation to coolant temperature they are normal....for this much cold coolant/engine as visible from video, RPMs are right...they come down to 800-900 when temperature becomes normal....it is normal operation....
If your engine temperature is not rising....RPMs would stay bit above 1000....You need to check that why your cars temperature is not rising...
First 2 reasons seems obvious ..as you mention there is no thermostat and on top of that Fan is direct....get both things rectified to origional specs...running engine cold reduces its life...

Maybe because of cold season along with direct fan and thermostat removed is contributing towards cold engine and high RPMs...

actually its not that cold here in Karachi
another thing i would like to mention is that the car had an accident in Sept. in which the radiator got damaged and someone drove the car and it overheated and the engine broke down and was "overhauled"

with T/S valve removed and direct fans this is 'NORMAL'

but highly abnormal and hurting the engine. re-do the cooling system, get T/S valve in the system drain tap water and use coolant. Rig the fans to work on automatic. there will be significant difference in vehicle performance and fuel economy.
