Help planning murree, shogran , naran trip with family on public transport

Salamz. Dear travel Guruz.
I have been reading your comments n experiences and found then very knowledgeable.
We are going on a trip to murree, shogran n naran from 2 to 7 june. We are 2 adults and 2 children, 5 n 1 year old. Our flight will land at Islamabad at 10 am. We plan to move to murree or abbottabad directly.
Kindly help us in
1.. planning the tour n night stay considering that we have babies with us and taking public transport.
2.. what transport to take and its charges/fares
3.. Any nice hotels with rates that u recommend
And lastly any other tips for this journey.

We were planning like
Day 1: go directly to muree, n night stay at murree
Day 2: travel to abbottabad in afternoon n night stay there
Day 3: leave for Shogran, visit siri paye , night stay at shogran
Day 4: leave for naran, visit saiful mulook n night stay at naran.
Day 5: leave for abbottabad, night stay in abbottabad
Day 6: leave for islamabad early morning, have bunch at monal. Flight at 7 pm .

May I ask from where are you flying in?

Anyways, here is my humble suggestion - while expert guidance is expected soon.

If you want to visit Naran/Kaghan (specially on public transport), may I suggest you contact PTDC (phone: 0092-51-9272013, 9272004-08). Their direct bus service to Naran will start on 01 June 2015 (so if possible, book in advance). One-way fare is about 1650/person. The bus departs from Flashman Hotel, The Mall, Rawalpindi.

Spend a couple of days in Naran, and one day in Shogran. One day in Islamabad (no offence, but Abbottabad is not worth spending two nights - unless of course you have some plans there).

Then on your way back (if you really really want), visit Murree for a day trip from Islamabad. Be aware that it will be crazy crowded (with children summer vacation and just a couple of weeks before Ramazan).

We will be going from Karachi. The only reason for staying at abbottabad is that with our two small children we will not be able to take a very long trip direct to naran. Its a six hour trip right

We decided about visiting murree for the sake of chair lift as we think our daughter, five years old would like it.

I am also thinking to plan something in these vacations. Original plan was to to to abbotabad and from there go to thandiani and nathiagali to murree.. But I was also thinking that there will be massive crowd in murree and "safar ka sara maza kirkara ho jayga" lekin begum naam ki jo cheez hoti ha usko kon samjhay
So if someone can share the cost of visit to naran etc... then may directly go that side instead of murree etc... family member could be 7-10 including 4 year and 8 year children..

Could anybody tell us about which local transport to take and what are the fares ( from abbottabad to balakot, to kewai, to shogran, back to balakot and then naran and saifulmulook) . Also kindly suggest about a good hotel in Shogran.

Can any one guide me how to book the PTDC bus from Naran to rawalpindi. Can i book this from Naran two days before travel or advance booking is must several days before from RWP. How much is the fare for adults and kids
