Help regarding Civic 2017 Multimedia system

Hi!

I looked for a topic that would solve the issue mentioned in the subject but could not find one in the forum (Surprisingly).

Anyways, I was delivered a brand new honda Civic Oriel Nov 2017. Got a factory fitted multimedia/nav system installed but unfortunately the touch on the panel has stopped responding and its now almost impossible to change tracks or tune the radio. Only the area which navigates between source (i.e radio, aux, usb etc) is responding to touch.

I called up Honda Quaideen Karachi for support but they gave me this number of some Ahmed guy (0313 2088244) saying that he will be able to help me with this but I cant get thru to him.

Is anyone else here experiencing the same problem with the multimedia system or is it just me?

Any tips on troubleshooting this belawajay ka expensive piece of crap would be highly appreciated!

Can you guide me on how to do that? Also, if i do reset it, will it remove the GPS data?

Hi Babar,

There is a small hole in the front to reset it. Use a small pin to reset it. GPS data won't be removed i guess.

Hello Guyz, Can anyone please help regarding multimedia screen.i got my car last week 1.8 oriel UG. Now android screen is not detecting any wifi device and DVD is also stopping while playing songs. Any way to fix all this?

Visit dealership and ask if there is any software update available. If available then updating the headunit software may resolve the issue.

Sir,
What would you do with a lane mirror in Pakistan.You will be forced to change your lane so many times that you will not need a camera.Talk about what has been given and my reference is the multi-media system which is real shit for Rs.75000/-
