Help requested about Honda city ABS and Hand brake light

As per the subject matter, my Honda city, MT 2012, is showing the ABS light and Hand brake light continuously even after resetting the ECU after unplugging the battery terminal.
The problem arose after I changed the front wheel bearings, both. After changing the bearings, every thing was fine. I drove it a for around 5 kms, parked it at home. Again in the morning took it for service and moved to office. Enroute to office, I found strong rubbing of brake pads with rotors. I had hardly moved 3/4 kms. The sound comes when brakes are applied and is different from the sound of worn out brake pads.
The rotors were so hot that I couldn't even touch them. At the same time, the ABS and parking lights came on.
I went to mechanic again. He opened the brake pads and cleaned them with sand paper. He also removed the ABS sensors and cleaned them.
At this, the rubbing sound went away but the lights stayed on. However, after driving for another 5/7 kms, the sound came back with same intensity when brakes are applied.
The bearings were ABS supportive, of same specs as previous ones and were correctly installed.
Can anyone please guide me what to do to get rid of ABS light and rubbing sound?
Please remember, pads were changed about 1 year ago and I have driven the car for almost 7800 kms. I don't think pads have gone. Every thing started only after bearings replacement.

ABS or brake light jo on hai wo ek dfa OBD scanner lgwa len,, jo masla howa samny ajay ga,, just faulty code howa to remove hujy ga..

Complete wheel assembly was opened again and nothing noticeable thing was found. Only rust and signs of scratches at rotors and brake pads were found. Work over with sand removed the rust.
The thing is, the sound comes only after brakes are applied.

Yes, OBD scanner might solve the problem of ABS light, but my concern is the weird sound. Its very annoying and apparently nothing is wrong either with brake pads or rotors.

Nope. Its like something is strongly rubbing with or pushing back the rotor. Only appears when brake is applied.

Try spraying some WD 40 on wheel section,,,maybe it will be of some help...

Dear all
Today we opened the hub again and found debris and kite flying thread just below the caliper. Moreover, the ABS keeps pumping the brakes, which means abs is continuously on and doing its work. We have cleaned the abs sensor and other stuff. Problem still persists. The scanner shows abs error. Now the the engine has started to heating up. Can any one please guide me where we have messed some thing?

My mechanic is suggesting me following items
1. Replace the brake pads
2. Replace the bearings again, (may be the kharradiya messed the magnetic strip)
3. If above two don't work, change ABS sensor.
I don't now know what to do. If anyone please shed some light and tell what exactly should we do.

Please note that, after jacking the vehicle and removing the wheel, we turned the ignition and put the car in 1st gear. While the wheel was rotating, the brakes were continuously being pumped, as if one is pushing the brake paddle to and fro.

That is because only one wheel is bring turned, the abs module is trying to stop the wheel as its assuming the car is spinning on ice road.

Please dont let idiots work on your car, they will cause you massive monetary loss.

To test the abs speed sensors, pull up the individual wheel speed sensors PiD on the scan tool and see what is happening as the car goes on road, all wheel speeds should be equal when going straight.

If your tool is not capable then test each sensor with an oscilloscope. But you will eventually need a deep level scan tool for diagnosing and resetting abs unit

Also check what exact fault codes are being recorded for abs unit, it maybe something else entirely like a failed pump due to wrong technique of repair when changing brake pads or simply rusty brake fluid jamming the pump.

Once again, if you own a car with abs, esp etc etc dont visit small time shops that do not own advance level scanners.

@Xulfiqar dear brother thank you for your response. Issue has been solved. I went to another mechanic, he straight away said that the bearing installed are wrong and sensor is unable to read correctly. He said the only way is to get complete assembly (knuckles plus bearings) and install them. I got kabli one from market and after installing the new hub with bearings, issue has been solved.
