Help required for Cultus VXRi oil leak

These kinds of things are available at hardware stores at much cheaper rates. I remember O rings were available at hardware stores for 10 Rs. Same with silicone and magic depoxy etc. Much cheaper at hardware stores as compared to car parts shops. Wd40 is also much cheaper there

For any future reader, I had this issue. The part locally called "tikki of distributor" is often culprit behind this leakage, if O ring is already been changed. I put a thick paper (cardboard) self made gasket along with gray silicon as a sealant and oil never leaked again.

Only use this method if the o ring doesn't seal properly.
Also would want to point out that the main leak is from the lower bolt hole on the Tikki for the distributor. Always block it from backside using a little depoxy.

Mechanic was suggesting that too but I went for gasket. There were no leaks afterwards.
There should be actually some gasket at that place, but Suzuki saves pennies in every bit and corner.

you need to match the O ring for the purpose. It is not simply about the fitting.

The wrong O ring will leak under heat or if it comes in contact with fuel

The shop I went to literally had dozens of sizes assorted in a case. I think they're all made of silicone. I got one for coolant metal return pipe. There's one big o ring that goes with it. Got it for 20 RS.

usually no problems when you are working with water. oil can be tricky.

SInce you live in isb, pay a visit to longman or tallman industrial stores near saddar.

They will ask you k kis material ki chaiye.

you can even find ones better than the original.

This is a serious issue with cultus. Facing the same one. Can you plz elaborate with pictures or in a YouTube video? Will be a great help for users as well.

Although the right size O ring is the accurate solution but it can easily be fixed through using silicone, I have done that many times myself the only drawback is you have to clean old silicone and reapply considerable amount everytime you fiddle with the distributor.
