Help required for front audio speaker of Alto

hey guys,
i have recently purchased new speakers for my alto now the problem is that i cannot turn on all the four speakers and put it to max volume. as the factory fitted front speakers on the dashboard are of very low quality so they... you know... paaat jatay hain (sorry i didnt know what to say about that in english ) on the high bass.

i had two solutions to that.
1- replace the front speakers as well.
2- attach a small capacitor like device to the front speakers called the bass blockers. i found it on internet. for layman, it basically blocks the bass.

kindly recommend either any reasonable speaker that can fit into the front dashboard speaker place.
or guide me where to get the bass blockers as i went to hall road and asked one guy about it and he said that there is no such thing as bass blockers.
any help would be much appreciated.

that bass blocker is actually a crossover. u can find it on some good quality pioneer etc speaker, its basically a capacitor that starts adding resistance to the system. for details, check here.

Thanks bro but where can i find these bass blockers as i have already asked a person on hall road, lahore and he said that there is no such thing like this.

brother i already have two 480 watt speakers in my car. would adding two more speaker ruin the battery or something? would it require a bigger battery?
i like the sony speaker that you have posted. it will generate more bass. am i right ?

Alpine one is much better in both sound and frequency response.

Even the Sony is almost twice as good compare to stock speakers.

You do not have to change any wiring or electrical system, if they are working fine.

Are you using an AMP?

Also try these Pioneer.

They are mid way between Alpine and Sony in both price and Sound.

Do not spend much, if you do not have an AMP.

i dont have an AMP and neither am i planning to get one coz i am not using woofer. i would love to buy the speaker who will produce a gud bass. currently i have two jvc 6946 model and i like the bass they produce very much. i am quite satisfied with it but i want to change the front speakers as well.

Do you have the HX6946 or V6946 ?

For info purposes only :

For producing bass, SUB is used, even a 8" SUB will make more bass then 2 pairs of 6 x 9 speakers.

If you dont want to install a SUB for any reasons, there are other speakers which can increase the bass and output significantly, example.

AMP is not for SUB only, AMP will give you power and magnify the sound signal.

Currently your Head Unit/ Cd Player is only giving you 10W RMS of power to all 4 speakers at full volume.

Means, if you want to drive your speakers at 60-80W RMS or 400-480W PMPO, you definitely need an AMP.

Kenwood M845, which will drive your 4 speakers with 60W RMS or

Kenwood - KAC-M845

Secondly, if you want some decent sound at front, 4 inch size is too small, you have to remove the stock speakers and and install 6.5 inch round speakers at door panels or kick panels.

Remember,these speakers will add bass but only comparatively and they would sound a lot better with AMP, regardless of low volume or high.

Even your current speakers are only operating at 15% of their potential or roughly around 10W.

i am using the above mentioned cd player and speakers in my car. its not that i dont like the woofer sound, its just that i wont fit in a small car like alto with cng. also i would much appreciate if you post the prices as well. but do keep in mind that i want speakers for the front dashboard. 6 inch speakers cannot fit in there. its alto my friend.
i would like to ask one more thing. the max vol of the jvc player that i am using is "50" and above 40, jvc k speakers bhi phat jatay hain. sound sari he phat jati ha. so it means that the amplification provided by the player is enough. do u think adding an AMP would gain any difference in the sound quality ? as per my knowledge it should not.

This effect is called clipping and this is not because you are giving more power, it is because HU is under powering the speakers and forcing them to go loud.

It is like that you are running at your full speed, holding your breath, you will soon run out of power.

Your HU is fine, even 50K Rs HU like Pioneer P99Rs cant give you more then 15W.

If you are in Karachi go to Haroon Radio at saddar, or any Car Audio shop you want to and ask him to give you a demo with all your speaker connected with a good 4 channel AMP.

I can assure you that with AMP, a 10 at volume dial will sound much better at loud compare to a 40 with HU.

you can use kick panel, for 6.5 inch speakers as 4 inch speakers are small.

here is a simple version what u need to do!

keep same head unit
keep same rear speakers

get the sony 4inch which he has told u or if u have money nothing is better than alpine.. u will feel huge difference...

as far awaz phat jane ke baat hai..

head unit distorts the sound at higher music level..
this doesnt mean that head unit is giving the power which is more than enough..

infact ur speakers are dieing for power which they are not getting... thats why awaz phat jati hai

thats why 959 was suggesting a amp..

leave the amp dont get confused get the alpine..

try 33uF capacitor on posative wire of small speaker. cheap solution. it will cut anything below 400hz. (approx)

usually capacitors price 5 to 20 Rs per unit.

its a bass blocker.
