@aa1983, bro this is my first trip to Naran as well
but from all my knowledge I gathered from the Gurus of Pak wheelers
Total time to reach Naran from Lahore is approximately 10-12 hours with a stay of around half hour twice via M2
Petrol cost according to my estimate will be 1.75 tanks one side I guess i.e. 50-60 litres
My vitz is older so it just have these options on gear/transmission P,R,N,D,2,1
P=Parking, R=Reverse, N=Neutral, D=Normal Drive, 2= Max 2nd gear, 1= 1st gear
But in your its D= Normal drive,
S= Sport, this is commonly described as Sport mode. It operates in an identical manner as "D" mode, except that the upshifts change much higher up the engine's rev range. This has the effect on maximising all the available engine output, and therefore enhances the performance of the vehicle, particularly during acceleration. This mode will also downchange much higher up the rev range compared to "D" mode, maximising the effects of engine braking
B= Brake, this mode lets the engine do compression braking, also known as engine braking, typically when encountering a steep downhill. Instead of engaging the brakes, the engine switches itself to a lower gear and slows down the spinning tires. The engine holds the car back, instead of the brakes slowing it down.
And you must have 1,2 or D1 and D2 in the gear box and you better use them on climbing hills as I use it whenever I go to hill station.
About your stay I guess you stay at SHogran if you cannot drive that long or stay in islamabad if you have short stamina of drive.
Rest there are many more Gurus who have much more experience than I've.
