So far nobody has asked me for my car, but there are certain people and friends whom I can give my car without any problem or worries.

And with whom I am not confident, may be my relative, friend, a neighbor, I would tell them that I do not allow anyone else to drive my car as cars develop fault when driven in different hands and offer them to get them a taxi or a radio cab and give them radio cab's number.

I been in same type of situation some time ago.. I just tell him that i do not give my car to any one therefore please do not mind and arrange some other possible way for your conveyance..
