I recently bought this Mini Pajero 1995.
Its engine has been swapped with the Pajero Jr. Engine which is 1100 CC with manual transmission.
THE PROBLEM:
Whenever i try to pick up in the first gear, it feels it needs to be put in the 2nd gear but the vehicle hardly moves even when the RPM is at 3.
I don't know if it would be called Short Shift. As if its asking for gears to be changed but the top speed never goes upto 80 KM even in the 5th gear.
I filled its tank of 30 liters and i traveled around 200 KM and it was touching "E" which makes the fuel average below 7 KM/PL with AC on all the time.
