I have a mehran vxr 2007 cng, this is the first time driving side front shock is stuck, sometimes at high speeds when car crosses a bump/jump it gives tak sound like if iron has touched the body. Got it check from two mechanics both said right driving side front shock is stick/stuck and not moving. So i need to replace it. So I am planning to change both front shocks as my car's suspension is total original. when I checked the market suzuki township motors are selling 1 shock for 3500rs, and they are not telling the company they just say its total genuine suzuki shock. Now in the market they are selling pair of gabriel shocks pair for like 5500 RS (Pair), and one shopkeeper said they have original KYP shock Kabili with 2 months gurantee for 3000rs (Pair) from Mintgomeri Road. Please guide for which one i sould go for because this is the very first time I need to change any part of suspension. Please guide any other part will be required to install/replace with the shocks or just the shocks.
One mechanic also told me to repair the current shock and will work for like 1year, and repairing will cost around 1k.
My car has 13inch alloyrim with big tyres. dont know the exact size but they are big then the stock ones.
