Help Required! Who says Passo is economical?

I have passo(1000 cc) 2012 model imported in DEC 2017 . Its only 45k kms driven.

I am facing 2 problems:
Its consuming fuel alot. I used to get 14 mileage when i bought it. You can see the mileage WITHOUT AC now. I recently cleaned its catalytic convertor but didn’t get any improvements .The whole petrol tank finishes in 380-400 km WITHOUT AC . I use ZIC A+ 5w-20.

2nd problem is of its pick.

Sometimes i get frustrated becz jab 4-5 bandy beth jae to bht ziada accelerator dena parta h. Also jab AC laga lo to gari PATHAR ki tarah hojati h even when there is only 1 passenger. Jab family ho to phir gari m zor hi khatm hojata h. Brakes gets heavy when AC is turned on .

AC ke bad mileage 8-9 km/l aajati h aur faida bhi ni becz AC doesn’t cool. Sirf hawa lagta h de raha h. Sab kuch theek h, jalian bhi saaf h , filters waghera too.

Here mechanics in PESHAWAR say that car is 1000 cc thats why AC doesn’t cool that much . Also they say passo bht halki gari h to you have to compromise .

Kindly guide me what should i do to address these problems. If someone knows any good mechanic /AC mechanic in PESHAWAR, let me know. I sometimes mix 7-8 litres hi octane in petrol but dont get any improvements.

NOTE : I dont know much about car mechanism as its my first one.

how was the catalytic converter cleaned ?
did you get the throttle body and sensors around it cleaned serviced
also not a bad idea to check ac gas level and ac pully . hope its not getting jam

It was cleaned through some chemicals using a machine. Search EngineDetox on Facebook . Their work is to clean Catalytic Convertor only.
No I didn’t get the throttle body and sensors serviced.

Brother Pakistan main jo super patrol iss waqt mil raha hai uski quality boht he pathetic hai. Try using a full tank of high octane.

You AC system is clogged. I was having similar issue with my passo AC. I had to replace compressor, condensor and flush all AC system pipes. There is a small filter in AC pipes near the pressure valve. It needs to be removed as replacement is not available.

For mileage issue, try compression test first, next check ignition coils and fuel injectors and fuel pump condition.

There are around 8-9 different sensors in these cars. All of them should be clean and healthy for good mileage and performance.

the mileage is probably due to traffic, now this isn't a 1.6 litre car nor a 125 bike that it would fly, why don't you first show your car to a friend or relative who owns a passo to know if everything is proper or not.
If you don't know anybody, go to new car care autos, gul nawaz 03005856543. Tell him Aamir Khan sent you, and he will resolve all your issues

Passo has Mira's compressor so it frequently trips on acceleration... it is smaller than vitz... vitz has better cooling than passo...

In extreme traffic congestion fuel avg may drops to 10kmpl... otherwise in summers it should give 12-13 kmpl in local drive...

Fill some high octane
Run car on motorway or ring road for some distance to get fuel avg idea
Check A.C. from some expert

For AC service/repair go to Naimat in Doctor Shafiq street. He is the best. For Scan/Diagnostic tuning go to Hasan/Amjad near Nadra office but they are expensive. Clean throttle body but follow the precautions required for it. Also your AC operations will improve once humidity rises. In dry months of May-June AC don't work that properly.

since purchase did u changed the CVT Transmission fluid ? Am sure there are shops with automotive scanner they can scan and track the faulty O2 sensor(s) some passo have 1 some have 2 (pre & post catcon ) there may be issue with O2 sensors which can be traced only via scanner, for fuel economy, delayed pickup, sluggish momentum gain is most likely transmission fluid issue.

I have recently changed the transmission oil . Kindly guide me from where i can get O2 and other sensors checked. Once i went to a mechanic, he did tuning using scanners and said everything is fine . For this he charged me 1500

Moreover i cannot sell this car as its on lease . Once sold i am sure my father is not gonna buy another one.

ask the same mechanic to give you print out from the scanner.

The vehicle has CVT transmission. did you used the Toyota CVT fluid?

i recommend check from hiace / coaster stand where these guys get their aircon fixed go there. such commuters can not afford bad air conditioner in their vehicle and will not let any C class screw them again & again.
