i personally fellow different oil first changes pattern company recommends 2 quick oil changes 1st 500km 2nd 1000km but many other fellows and i also goes on with first change at 200km 2nd 600km 3rd 1000km after that you can easily drain 1000-1500km range but many people find the 1000km best for their motorcycles and i suggest zic m5 20w40
Yes in running (1st 1000km) do not give throttle more 5-6krpm in any gear avoid quick accelerations keep the maximum speed 50-60km/h and no need to visit mechanic any mechanic or do any adjustment enjoy the brand new bike atleast 3000km do not disturb any settings many mechanics do not understand bike settings and set clutch or chain settings inaccurately which result in bad performance and harm to bike. get the chain settings checked at 1000km if it needs adjustment get it adjusted from yamaha or any sensible mechanic chain gets loose so free play at center of chain should be 20-25mm and lube the chain must every 1000km or earlier if you see it dried
