Help to choose between brands in 0W-20 engine oil for Toyota Aqua

Go for 0w-20 or 5w-30.
Havoline imported is available in 0w-20 for RS.3200/- for 4 liter
Total Quartz 9000 is available in 0w-20 for RS.3600/- for 4 liter
Total Quartz 9000 is available in 5w-30 for RS.3200/- for 4 liter (I suggest this for regular availability in stock of major oil outlets as well as it is well suited as per our environment.

I had Good experiences with Daraz. There is no any problem in that

But will suggest to go with Liqui moly

All Toyota Hybrids irrespective of climate the recommended viscosity is 0w-20. This is critical for the safe operation of engine.

To strengthen my argument further, the locally produced Honda Civic Turbo also uses 0w-20.

To best of my knowledge, LiquiMoly 0w-20 Special Tec is semi synthetic. whereas Toyota Hybrid require fully synthetic 0w-20 oil.

As regards to ATF Aqua uses Toyota ATF-WS.

Still you want to experiment then its up to you.

Talking after a lot of practical experience. 0w20 is fine for fuel economy and smooth running of car. But in temperatures less than 40 degrees. Dont expect performance out of this oil or else you will put strain on your engine.
I firmly belive if one likes to get performance from their engines , i.e more usage in hilly areas , more usage on long routes on high speeds , more stop and go movement in traffic (which puts strain on engine) one should move to more viscous and high rated oils. That is why i suggested 0w30 because its best of both words for hybrid engine. The winter grade “0” ensures best lubrication due to more engine starts in hybrid cars. The summer grade 30 ensures engine lubrication in demanding operation like constant high speed operation / high temperature and more demanding operation of car on high rpms in pakistan.
If i was living in uk i would have happily chosen 0w20.

But again everybody is entitled to his/her own opinion.
In oils practical experience matters more than just reading the book of car becasue pakistani enviorment changes everything.

Where can we find the temperature range for Oil grades, I tried to googled it out but did not found any thing till yet.

Hi,
With development in machining technology (CNC machines) the clearance/ tolerance in engines have reduced significantly on the other-hand the oil technology has switched to synthetics. These changes demand very high quality quick flowing oil. Thats the reason fully synthetic 0w-20 oil is recommended for Hybrid.

As I pointed out earlier, the locally produced Honda Civic Turbo also uses 0w-20 oil.

Look I may be less learned that you in lubrication but i am advocating what is good for Hybrid cars.
