[Help]TOO MANY PUNCTURES. Don't know what to do

its been 2 months since I bought Civic VTI MT. it has Bridgestone Sneaker SNK2/SNK2AZ 195/65R15 91S.

The problem is, in these 2 months, i have had like 80 punctures altogether on all 4 tyres on different occasions. I am not a rash drive. Although i tend to drive at fast speed in 1 out of 5 drives. The car is driven around 1700KM in 2 months and all inside city. I live in DHA so you can have an idea about the roads. But have driven outside DHA as well.

I have spent like 4-5000rs only on punctures in these 2 months. Just today I had 14 punctures on one tyre. A month ago, in first week of january, I got the tyres checked from the tyre/puncture shop and 1 tyre had 6, 1 had 9 and 1 had 11 punctures at that time. Its been going on from first week. After every 5 to 7 days I go to the tyre shop to get the air pressure checked and turns out that one of the tyres is puncture and when they check the puncture, turns out it has like 7-10 of it on 1 tyre.

Please help me what is wrong here? is it the design of the tyres or what?

kahan bhai logon. The car is parked right outside my office from 11AM to 8PM and I can always see it from the office window. After that, it is parked inside house. I am not that kind of a person who parks the car outside even for few minutes. And how would you define a human act deliberately doing it? cz no one i ever saw did walk to my car and just inserted small screws on the uper surface of the tyre

i am pretty much sure that u r going to total pump. that puncture man is big thug

once i went there he claim 46 punctures in my all tyres i just drove my car from there and went to pso cavilary and guss there was only 2 punctures.

Brother first of all the tyres ur using is kabli that can be one reason they easily get puncture.

The only way to get out of this problem is to get new tyres.

dont let puncture guy fill more than 30 or 32 psi when he is checking it for puncture. usually they fill like 40 something.

but now u should replace tyres.

WTF MAN JUST WTF. Yes I go to the same guy. OMG that is what I was fearing. GOSH. BTW this Total pump is at Ghazi road signal that comes between Y block and CC/DD right?

I am thinking of doing the same. But after buying the car, installing audio system and its whole tunning maintenance etc including timing belt etc, I am kinda bankrupt till March and I know that if i have to get good tyres, they can cost around 40k.

this thing i always take care off. I always take care that its not lower or higher than 30 PSI.

I think this guy has screwed my tyres if its true what asimkh1 is saying

ummm - how does your car get to the station? on a tow truck? I would scrap the tires if i found 10 real holes in the tires. But I dont actually visit shops for tire repair - I do it myself. Got my a patch plug kit ages ago and also had a bead breaker at home too - even in Pakistan.

works a treat. specially when you have 4 cars at home.

To check punctures - check with soapy water.

this is what happens when u leave a tyre or car with these people
they make things up. would say anything to make money

but if ur car tyres is regularly dropping tyre pressure/showing signs of puncture,seems like they are pretty darn old(manufac), even though tread seems to be fine

I had a similar issue once. But my tyres were really old. And once I replaced my tyres I have only one or 2 puncture over months.
The guy said that old tyres become hard and are more prone to punctures.

Next time go to another puncture shop. Even for checking air pessure.

Don't know how to read the manufacturing dates for bridgestone. But this "Made in Chine" tyre seems to be of 2002 or 2006 at best. In any case, these are end of life quite a long ago.

Only solution is to get new tyres, else, visit the tyre shop every other day.

Btw, the pace at which you're spending on punctures, you'll end up paying half the price of tyres to puncture shops if you delay it till May this year

bro yes ... it is the same pump.

just go to pso cavilery ground. ur issue will be resolved.

plus check ur tire pressure if it is bellow 20 psi then its seems to be punctured. as 3-4 psi points will loss in a week time plus 2-3 psi usually while checking as the cables are too long they reduce the pressure.

you can buy the needle and thread type repair kit in pakistan for about Rs 200/-

plug and patch repair requires dismounting of the tire.
