fitting turbo is not difficult the main problem is compression and Ecu tuning.
How you're going to manage that?

Get a Chinese Bolt on turbo kit which has casted Turbo Exhaust nd Intake manifold. Can find on Ebay etc.
D16 has good potential with simple bolton turbo kit Bigger Injectors and highflow fuel pump. Some minor tweaks wth sensors you can pullout good power. Though many ppl are chipping ecu etc which is considerablly cheaper.
