HID lights installation in fog lamp in Toyota corolla

I want to install HID lights in fog lamp of my Toyota corolla. I need to use it only during rainy and snowfall season to improve vision during these conditions as road markings are always minimal. What is best option available. Avg price..Will this need modifications to wiring and is there any chances of overheating wiring or fog lights

Don't use HID'S in fog lights. Get rally vision bulbs instead.

Actually Hid is bad in foggy conditions , if you really want to use them in fog then you should get Yellow colored bulbs put in the fogs, Or apply yellow tint paper on fog lights.
If you still want an HID kit (Nothing wrong with that), local markets are full of them (All Chinese) ranging anywhere from 3k to 15k.
A decent 55w Hid kit should set you back 5.5k with 1 year warranty for ballasts (Or Blaster in local language) .
In Rwp i'd recommend Heera Brothers in Saddar Rawalpindi.

Good. I have already used yellow paper on fog lamp and that really matters. But in order to improve brightness I was thinking of getting HID

Actually, HID's in fog lights will mess up the spread of light and light will spread everywhere causing massive glare.

dude instead of HID.. u can install WHITE LEDS they have good visibility.
price range start from 1500 to 4000

White light will worsen your vision in rainy/foggy conditions.

White light is not good for foggy conditions or during snowfall.. do we have yellow LED lights in local market for usage in fog lamp

In the second pic, you can't see the cutoff of the foglamps which means that the light is scattered all over and hence, glare for oncoming traffic.

U may be rite. Let me check again..will update.if u open genuine fog lamp shell there is metal shield which cover bulb from above and front..it is open at bottom..so that light remain focus ob lower oart of road.. much better option than installation in headlamp
