basically there is not HID is the type, mean Hight Density and the Xenon is the gas gilled in it, the only benifit is that after so many years of use the halogen buld get the residue builtup in the light and make it dim, the xenon has no effect by light ways and also it is very high denisty thats why it is light bright white or blue
