Hello All,
I have been a regular user of Pak Wheel's forum; as there comprehensive level of knowledge and info I had gained through this platform.
I need expert opinion and guidance in regards to very high petrol consumption of my beloved 1988 Honda Accord which I have kept with very care as you can see in the attached pics. I m from Karachi City, I have been using this car very occassionally but still it has very high petrol consumption. It has orignal A16 engine and orignal carburetor. All functions are properly working including power windows and sunroof, etc. This car totally petrol driven with no CNG, even though I had done my carburetor cleaned / serviced. The RPM always is lying around 700-800 without AC.
Right now, it is giving me around 4-5 KM/L. I would be glad to have 9-10 per litre. Some local mechanics have advised me to alter the carburetor or get it swpped with Mehran's carburetore which I don't want do.
Dear Zulfiqar,
Your expert advise on how to get desired mileage.
thx
Mustafa Hashim.
