I have a Kia Classic 2001 model issue is i have recently had AC service and compressor change now when car is Idle its RPM is around 900 to 1000 but with AC on its goes up to 1500 RPM is it normal for the car also no issues while driving but just want to know about 1500 RPM is it ok or what should i do to fix it and whats the ideal RPM while IDLE and with AC ? thanks
Increase of RPM, when compressor kicks in is pretty normal although 1500 RPM is on slightly higher side. With AC it should be between 1000-1200, without AC 800 is normal.
