Hiking Trip to Panjpeer

The Trek is just awesome, approximate distance must be like 15, 16 km.. reaching this point from where i have taken these both pics (one of islamabad side and one of other side) it took us almost 3 hours, then 4 to 5 more hours. we started at 8 in morning and reached Khanpur dam at like 4 : 15 , then had a tasty fish from there.. we did had knives with us, but un ke zarurat nai pare... and we didn't find any monkeys too...
starting point is behind faisal mosque, on one side is Islamic Hostel, and other side is CDA's small office type houses. a little inside the trees, we had to start from behind of that office..

We started the same trail from Kuwait Hostel.. Monkeys were there... and we took a wrong turn and exit at Jungle Point, Pir Sohawa Road... Trail-4 starting point.

Then we took a trek from there to Daman e Koh...

From Daman we took the road... and tired some friends, and return from near Talhar More...

it is a must to visit place, amazing rocks and shrine of some baba sahib on top of mountain,

you can park ur cars at danoi rest house, the care takers are very helpful,... and han, there is no shop ahead take ur food or eatables from station. han there is only one shop little one that can offer u low quality juices and sweats.. after u passed the punjpir rocks...

according to my defination, it is still a virgin place,, visit there but please, let her remain virgin

Thanks for information Fellows. So far what i have got there are 2 ways to panjpeer top. One from Kahuta side via narh village. and the other is from Lethrar side.

we are planning to go there on 29 November.

1-Can anyone please tell me which is the shortest way to Panjpeer top. Can jeeps go there till the panjpeer?
2-which is the safest way as females will also be accompanying us.
3-How much a jeep cost to reach at top?
4- where should we park the coaster?

This place was believed where five saints came and got settled. did you got your route from Kahuta road ,then turned to Narhh Village? A good route to start. I could say you enjoyed your trip. Thanks for sharing to everyone!
