Hi Ranasherdil.. Luckily i have completed this trek with friends. We started a 6 :15 a.m. from Thandiani and were able to reach Dagree Bunglow at about 4:15 P.M. by the grace of Allah the Almighty... We have to stay here for night due to food shortage....

@Saeed73 has told another way of this. peak is from Narh side and he told that even 4 wheels can got directly to top from this side..

Faizabad Rawat = 15 Km

Rawat to PTV Booster More (Punjar bazar) on Rawat Azad Pattan Rawala Kot Road = 36 Km

PTV Booster More to Panjpeer = 21 Km

Aaagay ap khud thori info lou..

@Saeed73 is also requested to clarify the road situation for bikes from Narh Side to Panjpeer Top...

In below pic you can see kahuta, PTV Booster more, Azad Pattan, Danoi, Panjpeer etc...

Great trip dear,thanks for adding this track into thread. Its a fact that nobody knew about this wonderful place, that is ver accessible from Islamabad.The best thing is that it can be done in a single day and return back to Isd.Very valuable information shared by you people. We are thankful to you. we will definately try this whenever we go to Isd. Insha Allah.

One thing I would like to add, that we all should encourage and thank to all the friends who ever introduce a new place or track on any forum.Because this helps a lot to other friends /brothers who would like to explore new and beautiful places. By this we can prmote a healthy activity in our youth and guide new friends who love Pakistan and like to explore our beatiful homeland.

Hye, iam planing to do trekking from faisal masjid to khanpur dam. you mentioned 1 of your choices was this track too...
plz tell me can this track be done directly coz if you go to talhar from faisal masjid the track will be quite long.
is there any direct route in your knowledge. if we didn't take turn to right side for talhar and continue being left, ateleast on google earth we can reach khanpur don't know in real does the track exist or not....

It would be long starting from Faisal Mosque.. But quite doable one way in one day...

There is another trek,, from Islamabad to Khanpur... That start near some village near Golra More... That is short...

Shah Allah Ditta say bhi jata ha. but.. A fellow hiker has attempted from someother point... Village name yaad nahi ha...I will tell you after asking from him...

when we reached this point which is like almost half of the track, the battery of my camera runs out. the rest of the track is mostly descending on the mountains and one small climb of half an hour if you take the direct route. and was even more beautiful than this

While on the Pir sohawa Road... The road is on margalla main ridge.. (first ridge) these are pics of 2nd ridge.. This ridge calls the trekker.... this 2nd ridge on its rights... goes to murree and onward also i think..
