Yesterday I was at lube change workshop. I observed that the mechanic ustaad was pouring more oil than required. I told him to put hold and measure the oil quantity. Instead of listening and rectifying the issue, mechanic ustaad replied: "sir g, hamara roz ka kaam hai, mein sahee kar raha hoon".

Usually whenever mechanic ustaad mistake is identified they have following things to say:

"Hamara roz ka kaam hai"
"O chorein sir, hum 20 saal se issi tarah kaam kar rahe hein"
"Ye tou hum ne pehle nahin suna, aisey hee kaam hota hai"

Oh yes they are specifically against internet references big time. Recently I was getting the timing belt and pulleys done, I showed the mechanic a photo of my car's engine type and pulley and belt configuration. He didn't even look, refused to see and said:

ur right bro even at oil change i face this issue my car has 100k odo and i am using 5w30 oil when i went to him to change oil he said bhai yay kaun sa mehnga oil lay aye ap ki gari may to 20w50 dalay ga and i straight away said to him jo oil may laya hoon woh dalo 20w50 nahi phir mosoof nay ajeeb sa mun bana kar wohi oil dala

The most common ustadi of these jahil ustads is they take thermostat valve and make fan direct even of zero meter car and even without informing owners.then they claim sir apki gari bohot garam ho rahi thi ab kabhi bhi garam nhn hogi.and they always love to put water in radiator.

Happens to me always when i go for Oil Changes. Only my Mechanic says to use 10W30 else everyone says bhai aapki 300K plus chali hui car hai use 20W50. But i always use 10W30 and she never decreases a drop. works perfect nothing wrong with. Per Ustaad Jee at oil change shops are against anyother grade oils except 20W50. they say jitna garha aail hoga utna he acha rahega engine.

Yes. This is their most common jugaar ustaadi.
After making fan direct, the fan motor fuses after a while. My car suffered this issue few months ago because the previous owner had that fav made direct and it happened right after I got the car.

Once a jugaari ustaad put a belt in engine of my car. I was skeptical about quality of belt. I insisted on changing to another belt. He said
بے فکر ہو کے چلائیں

I asked him if I can drive it from Lahore to Islamabad motorway all the way with peace of mind. He said
آپ اس کو بے شک کراچی تک لے جائیں، پہاڑوں میں لے جائیں۔ جیسے مرضی چلائیں۔

The next morning I was driving on Lahore Islamabad motorway. Just before the Kalar Kahar service area the belt broke. Thank God it I was just right at kalakahar service area when it happened, I got the belt changed there.

Upon arriving back in Lahore I went to jugaari ustaad and scolded him for lying to me. He replied
سر جی بیلٹ تو ٹھیک تھی، آپ نے گاڑی زور سے چلائی ہو گی۔

The mentality of all jugaari ustaads is to put all the blame on vehicle owner. They never take responsibility for their actions. Such merciless cruel filthy minded creatures!
