Hilux 1KD fuel filter

Hilux owners with 1KD, which fuel filter brand do you use and how often do you change them?

I believe filters with Toyota labelled packing available at most shops are counterfeit.

Its fuel filters are commonly available. Guard, Leppon, Vic, Toyota, etc.

For sake of discussions/knowledge/information, upper class feels that only Mehangi Cheez is Better.

But I used fuel filters from Leppon & Guard for my ex-rides and they worked pretty good. Guard’s fuel filter was around PKR 800/- and Leppon’s filter were at 1200/- but now they might be more expensive..

How would you rate these filters? Actually these are not just filters but have an important role of water separation. I doubt if these filters do water separation

These filters are usually fixed in the fuel lines. Mostly beneath vehicle (the lines which came from fuel tank towards engine).
they only filter out the tiny debris of the fuel tank and don't let them reach to ignition chamber.
the filters which separates the water, i guess those are attached in the engine bay alongwith fuel pump, but i am not sure.

one fuel filter life is 50K km as per books and also depends the part of the world you are living & quality of fuel.
But in PK, mostly people change it earlier than 50K km.
