Hilux Vigo Bumpy/Hard Ride

I am fed of of the bumps of my Hilux, specially after using it with my Prado. The difference in drive just makes it a hundred times worse.
Unfortunately due to different work purposes I need to keep both.

Im looking for ways to soften the vigos ride, at-least as much as possible.

I’ve considered the following options please advise:

1) putting 2 sand bags in the back, however I’m a bit reluctant as they will eventually leak and create a mess. (Quality of boris in pak isn’t very good)

2) filling up the cargo box with sand. (Sand won’t go anywhere as it’s sealed, but it’s not exactly right at the back so I don’t know if it will have any effect, and if it will be able to hold that much amount of sand)

3) putting blocks of cement at the back. (They might jump and break the plastic on the trunk bed and be noisy)

Please advise if any of these solutions would be useful, and or if not any other way to make the Hilux soft.

I agree, however I only gave the comparison to explain that I would’ve gotten used to the hardness of the Hilux if it was the only vehicle I had to use. But since I use it along with a prado, I have to feel the difference everyday.

Hilux comes with leaf spring rear suspension instead of coil spring like all jeeps.
Even if I get another set, it will still be very hard.
I do not want to make any alterations to the original suspension.

I read online that, leaf spring is made to carry weight and once the weight is applied it becomes much more comfortable/less jumps. Hence I was wondering if I could just put sand bags or sand in the carry box lol.

Anyway, if you could suggest some replacement shocks along with an estimate price.
That would be great too.

Boss that’s why i am asking.
Will putting a few sand Boris at the back make a quick difference?

Technically it would make a difference and sort you out in the short term but it's not a long lasting or safe solution. A truck is a truck after all and when unladen it's suppose to be bumpy thus never really a urban daily driver . However with new techs bring applied in upcoming trucks they are considerably less bumpy and more stable ( raptor , dmax etc ).
