Dear members,i owns a vigo TRD 4.0 petrol fully modified
Since last 1 week i am facing a problem and because i am posted in Gilgit baltistan area i can not find a good mechanic here
I am facing water dripong white smoke with smell when i start it in morning and it continue till vehicle get warm
Mechanics here are saying its normal
And i am fearing that may be gas kit has blown up
But temp is normal and engine oil is good
No bubles in radiator as well

Which oil are you using? Any recent oil change you did in gilgit? You started to face this problem when you went to gilgit? How many kms is the vehicle driven?

Well dear i live in kashmir. When we start cars here in extreme cold like minus 2 to minus 5 or even plus 6 or 7 then most vehicle priduce thick smoke for few minutes till cars gets warm.. but same car when we start in afternoon for first time minimal smoke is produced. I m talking about 2C diesal and 1300 cc vvti petrol engine..

It's normal for petrol cold Start to produce steam like smoke with the silencer throwing drops of water. Go to youtube and check different smokes and what they mean...

Befire driving to gilgit i changed the oil and choosed shell helic ultra,but after coming here in gilgit i only found ZIC,
The problem sorted out as it was my first winters herr and temp was -10 in korming daily,
Olus i did not go for oil change after coming from karachi and vehicle was in same oil,
After changing oil and filter it is working fine now
