Honda 1999 Auto . Need to SWAP Assembly. Need Guidance

Hello to all,

First of all I want to say that I want to swap assembly as the older one is quite dead with light blue smoke all the time. Here are my configuration

1) Automatic VTI 1999 Model

2) Has " P2M - N92 " Ecu ( which I won't change )

3) I have a D16Y6 dual Vtec engine as of now, while the genuine one has Single Vtec as far as I know. I don't remember what series it was.

Kindly guide me which Engine would be compatible with this ECU completely/Absolutely.
Please Name the series.
And where will I get it for a cheap Price. And If anyone knows anyone who have it. leave me a DM if possible.

D16y8 / y6 is single vtec motor.
If you see 2 vtec solenoid on the head it means d15b head.
Your ecu is also stock.

If I try to Swap or rebuild it. How much will it cost me and where to get the Kabuli Assembly from?

So my only option will be D16Y6 yes ?

Both almost cost same.
Complete engine rebuild can cost 60-70k or maybe more. Same with assembly.
Rebuild is better as you know what you install and it's new. From scrap yard you wouldn't know what's inside.
