Check Engine light is ON. Scanned with diagnosis tool. It shows P1166 Ho2S (B2) (S1) Heater Failure. I googled a bit and found out that my O2 sensor is not working.

What needs to be done?Is it a serious issue because the mechanic said that your catalytic convert jali is already missing now your sensor is damaged as well so you need to replace both to make it work else if you just change the sensor the check engine light might still remains on and he has no idea from where i can get these and he also said is ok to drive the car with it as it didn't make any harm on the car, as you already using it without the catalytic jali.

What i need to do now to fix it?
And what would be the estimated price for this work including catalytic converter and sensor.

Check scotty kilmer channel on youtube.
He has videos where you can clean your oxygen sensor on your own or if you have one available you can change easily.
Secondly, google this error code or check it in manual as many a times single error code can be due to multiple faults or vice versa. Since you have a JDM car better to have more opinion from other mechanics or get a scan from Honda as well.

If that sensor is dead, only choice is to replace it. If not than it will consume loads of petrol and fuel average will drop drastically. Replace the O2 Sensor than check if all goes well and than go for catalytic converter.

Thanks for the feedback, sure will note down the cosumption of the petrol now on wards and try to replace it ASAP, do you have any idea from where i can get this and the price range of it? before this its giving me around 9 or sometime 10 km on 1ltr with AC its 660cc.

Yes it should be easily available. Take the O2 with you in nearest scrapyard and find it.
