It also happened with me, a school bus driver try to take over my car and hit the right fender broke the bumper indicator parking light etc .... and tried to run.... but i dont give up and take over his bus and make him stop.... then i take his driving license / nic and vehicle documents.... and told him he will get them after he will pay the expenses.... then i repaired the car and after a week called him, and he was like main dadoon ga paasy abhi nahi hain aap papers daydain.... but i refused and within a week he give me the money... 1 thing i missed to tell you that i asked for his house and verified that he lives there, so he cant run away.....

The point is these dealerships should play their part of integrity , they shouldn't listen to references and shouldn't give biased estimates

I raised my voice to at least show the face of these so called authorised dealerships. Obv I know nothing going to work now for me in means of money but I must revel these fraudulent because we all think that they are independent and maintains integrity

since they were trying to manipulate the bill, why did you offer for 55-45 split? and even more why didnt you back out of it. sorry for your loss but @viboke4652 is right in this case. Also what is done for property damage?

55-45 split was offered before visiting this dealership. I didn't know this tactic will be played later on by dealership and them. I would never offer them if I knew this going to happen at dealership

Mostly dealerships and insurance agents change parts to earn profit sharing. And dealerships would mostly insist on replacing parts since their labour gets zero. They only need to primer and repaint.

Repair or no repair, repaint or replaced parts means accidented car.

If quality work is done then I guess it is no issue if the part is repaired instead of replaced.

I would suggest to cool down also share pictures of the accidental car.

Yes Exactly , Dealerships would mostly insist on replacing parts but in my case they were refusing to change the tail light saying that it is fine and no need to replace and I was the one insisting them that it is cracked why cant you see. You may check the bill that they still didn't mention the tail light

Welcome to pakistan, the business values of the west are useless here, business owners here only know how to count money but wont offer product/service worth that money for multitude of reasons mainly blame shifting. It seems you are not from here so get used to it, these crooks are everywhere in pakistan. vultures waiting to feed on the vulnerable. There are a lot of shoulds that aren't instead go with the flow as you can't change the mentality forget about the system, you'll only exhaust yourself. You said it we heard it then everybody goes to sleep, the silence prevails and the cycle continues.

I hit a corolla in 2014, Dealership insisted on replacing the bonet, While insurance kept of saying to repaint, Later it was repainted, I didnt mind.

and for the light, jitne ki dealership dega uska 45% ki apko sultan ka kho se ya shoba bazar se miljaegi. probably paint hue wi diggi b miljaegi for 45% of the amount so chill kerein tension na lein.

And atlest get one good quality cctv camera which covers your main gate and entrance, better if you can get one more which covers outside your house.
