I’m reaching out today for all of the members to beware of this dealership fraud as I have faced a serious issue at "Honda Avenue Islamabad Near Gulberg Green"
All of it started when my neighbors hit my parked car a few days back accidentally. I wanted to get my car fixed from Honda but they were forcing me to get it fixed from somewhere else outside other than Honda dealership. The next day I went to Honda Dealership which I trust the most according to the best of my knowledge "Peshawar Road, Rawalpindi" and got the Estimate bill. The bill has been attached which includes multiple things but the point to be noted is that it includes the replacement of the trunk because it was badly damaged.
I forwarded the bill to my neighbors and they refused to pay the Estimate bill because they were not interested to get my car fixed from Honda. Finally, after multiple talks, they said that they can't afford it. Finally, I came up with a way out to help them that the car will get fixed from Honda but they will pay 55% and I will pay 45% of the Estimate bill. After this commitment, they wanted to get another Estimate from "Honda Avenue Islamabad" and the deal will stand on the bill whose Estimate Bill will be lower in price
I had no issues getting my car fixed from any Honda Dealership because I knew Honda maintains the same quality and level of work at all of the Dealerships but now I came to know that I was very wrong. Anyways Moving forward they told me that they want to go with me to "Honda Avenue Islamabad" and get another Estimate, later on, I came to know that they had references at that Center that's why they wanted me to visit this specific Dealership.
Anyways we visited that dealership and the guy started inspecting the car and started writing the Estimate bill. The conflict occurred when I saw he had written the trunk repaired instead of replaced on the bill. I asked him that it is badly damaged so replace this. HE REFUSED IN THE START but then he mentioned it replaced when I showed him and explained the damage more clearly. Just after this, the party who hit my car started asking the person who was writing the estimate to remove the trunk from the bill, after this, I don't know from where the guy writing bill started getting calls one after another and he was forced to remove the trunk from the bill. Later on, the party who hit my car started forcing the Guy to remove the trunk from the bill or write a note on the Estimate bill that the trunk could be repaired instead of replaced, and due to their saying the Honda Men wrote the Comment on my bill that "Trunk Assy is repairable but on the forceful request of the owner Truck replacement is mentioned but the other parts not accepted". I have attached this bill as well
That was the story. Now I'm writing my concerns below
1-First of all the mode of payment was CASH not INSURANCE so Dealership has no right to insist me to get my truck repaired INSTEAD of REPLACED, Right? I'll pay what so ever the total comes up so why they are getting into it?
2-According to which policy they have written the comment on my Estimate Bill just because of someone else saying and using their references?
3-The opponent party who hit the car is now refusing to pay me for the truck due to the comment of your staff on my bill, Who is responsible for that amount? Is Honda Avenue ready to pay me for the truck now? If not then why do their staff post such an unprofessional comment on my bill?
4-The man writing the bill was trying to reduce the bill as much as possible, I showed him that the light is cracked from the inside so mention them in the bill as well but he said this is normal it is not the part of the accident and according to him the lights are in perfect condition.
