Honda BR-V launching soon in Pakistan

Honda is planning to launch the BR-V by March 2017. It's a 7 seater MPV with a 1.5L engine and has MT/CVT as options in transmission.

Suppliers have begun to produce the localized parts and Honda Atlas plans to start production in Feb 2017.

No idea about price but Honda did import an E spec model in August from Indonesia (where they will source the imported parts most likely) where the price is PKR 1.92 Million - so you can expect that it might be in the range of 1.9-2.5 Million here.

Specs include (E spec - as found in Indonesia): VSA, Hill start, 6.1" display, projector headlamp with led light guide, rear parking camera, etc

If launched in the range of 1.9m to 2.5m, it will be an instant hit and certainly grab a big chunk of market share. Anything near or beyond 3m will not fare well for its sales volumes.

Because BR-V is a cheaper, less-specced car. It will be locally manufactured.

Brv is based on honda brio. Hence supposedly smaller and cheaper looking crv if locally assembled it can be priced under 2.5 million. Between city and civic.

Brio based amaze is also a small sedan priced under city. And a decent option to kill any planning paksuzuki doing to launch ciaz
