Salam All. Need help with something. I recently went to change my cvt gear oil. Km on Odo are 278k and this is the second time for oil change. I know ideally given the kms it should be the third oil change since cvt is good for 80-100k km.
Anyway, the mechanic found bits of metal pieces in the strainer. He said gearbox needs to be opened which I didn't agree to. Just changed the oil and car is running fine but still worried whether it was right to pend this.
Also, if I do have to go for cvt tranny issues who is the best person for it in Lahore? Would be really thankful if someone could give recommendations for cvt gear mechanics in Lahore.
