Switching to Caltex 0w-20 from Total 5w-30 has made a significant change. around 10.5 in city without AC.
As summer is just returning will find out mileage with AC as well. The engine revs more freely as well.

Well I am getting fuel average of 10km/l in city and I am using total 5w-30, so are there any more benefits of switching to caltex Ow-20 and should I switch? Please guide me according to your experience.

honda itself is now offering 0w-20 oil for brv ... its total product i believe
I think caltex 0w-20 is a superior oil and has given me significantly improved mileage so i would recommend that

My BRVs is giving 17 kmpl on long after I have changed CVT oil and tune up. Before that it was 13 kmpl.

Assalamo Alaikum EveryoneI am facing problem related to AC after topup of gas AC stops cooling at standstill or at speed of 0~20 KM/hr in traffic But it works absolutely fine at driving. Acceleration not feels heavy. Fans are working fine But engine bay and hood heats up alot but no warning sign in dashboard AC not throwing water out after long run at stop

All problem start after topup of gas.
Car HONDA BRV 3600KM driven.
kindly suggest possible solution and diagnostic

Last year condensor hit and all gas leak and now again i feel ac ccoling is not good so i ask mechanic to check it any possible leakage and he says sir gass 20 points kam hai and no leakge.
That's why i topup, all this AC work done by HONDA Dealership

Usually dealerships try to cover up things.if cooling has decreased according to u then gas has leaked fr sure.now it is there job to find and fix tht leak.dont let them get away.

i bought my BRV in January 2020 and have driven it for 4300 kilometers only but unfortunately last Friday while back to my office it just died time was 3pm in the evening despite several attempts it did not start. i had it serviced on September 12th from Honda Qaideen, called them and they said they will get back to me in 5 minutes but that five minutes never came luckily i was close to Honda Defense i went there and they also refused to assist me by saying that they dont have spare mechanic to assist me. Finally after several calls someone came from Honda Qaideen to assist me and they started the car within a few minutes. i had no choice but to go to Qaideen service center to have the car checked as it was after 5pm they asked me to leave my car with them and on Saturday evening they returned my BRV saying that there is no fault just some moisture in one of the sensors i dont know how true this is but Honda after sales is hopeless. we cant take our honda cars to unauthorized service center and those who are authorized not care for their customers as their hands are full. every quarter they ask us to get our cars serviced and extract thousands of Rupees but when it comes to assist in the time of need they disappear please advise if anyone have faced similar issues with Honda

We all are mostly educated enough to know why and how fuel economy decreases. But I would also like to point out that Quality Control with respect to Consistency is lacking by Honda Atlas. Creaking and rattling sounds/ noises are primarily the first things that usually start happening in a brand new zero mile car. Trust me, you really need to tighten the nut/bolts of the new vehicle inside out.

If you want to not loose ac gas in next summer. You have to switch on ac atleast one time per week in winter also for 5 min max.
