I am having an issue with honda Cb125f bike. When i cold start it like in morning or after resting of hours it doesn't take accelerator. Bike does missing and engine turns off again and again. You can see the attached video for exact problem. After i run bike for some minutes the problem is gone. I visited several mechanics who changes plugs and did carburetor service but still the issue is same. Main problem is that there is no symptom when i visit mechanic since problem goes after i ran bike for few minutes. But it is a pain to get the bike going when started. Pls see the video and advise
Most probably it is Air fuel ratio issue.
Try to change the air fuel ratio using the screw on carburetor while it behaves like that....
Hope it will solve the issue
Before playing with screw first try choke...
Choke is down and when i lift the choke the bike even doesn't start
Start the bike, then slowly lift the choke
Ok so what to do next if it works?
If it works then you have to adjust air fuel ratio...
Don't check with choke all the way up... but in middle
Check the spark plug if the color is light brown then your bike is running on lean mixture. Get it checked by any good mechanic.
Problem resolved itself. It was due to bad fuel. After refueling the issue is gone
i am facing this issue too owns a 2023 model now i have a solution to it that i start it lifting the chowk with an accelerator and when the bike reaches 4k rpm drop the chowk and maintain the rpm for like 1 min or 2 after that bike dont do this and yes chowk while cold starting the bike ir any vehicle is important. cars nowadays have auto chowk system but paki bikes dont do this is mandatory specially in winter and also in summers too.
