i am selling my honda cd 100 2012 well maintained and care fully driven its odo is around 44000km i have kept it since nov 2015 as now i am planning to upgrade i am selling my cd 100 but as per pakwheels i can see alot of variation in price of cd 100 some are demanding rs30000 and same are asking for rs60000
where as in mughalpura ,arket the dealers are offering me rs20000 now i want some expert to tell mme what will be a decent price to ask for this bike by decent i mean that the buyer and seller both are happy.and we could sell it useing pakwheels and both can cut the dealer margin if he is buying it for 20000 he will do some work worth1000/2000 and demand probably around 30000
As per my usage of this bike here is my review
this bike is the best and most comfortable bike made by honda at that time its suspension seating posture seat is so comfortable i use it for daily commute of 50+ km and have also used it for 150km in a day with any pain in my back but to drive this bike their are certain rules you need to follow this is not a bike to race it is a bike to cruise if you want to ride it at 50km/hr-60km/hr you are going to love it and enjoy it to the max if you try to race it as like cd 70 or cg 125 trust me you will blow your clutch plates very soon and again and again in terms of size it is bigger than 125 and heavy too which gives it stability. compared to cd 70 it is way better in every aspect and sadly available in the same price range as a cd 70 of the same model used it also gives me a fuel average to 50+k/l with a bit heavy acceleration one cant ride a 70 after using 100
as per its down side i will have to say it has a parts issue by this what i mean is for e.g. if you want to replace your kick you wont find it in aftyer market you will only get it from honda authorized 3s dealers which costs around 500rs for rest you can relate some rear parts are only available at Honda dealers. while other parts are inter changeable with 70 or 125. one another problem is when you gets its oil change . cd 70 gets a 700ml packing and cg 125 has a 1L packing you have to put 800ml in cd 100 now either you buy 700ml and 100 ml open unbranded i=oil or you buy 1 l oil and keep 200 ml for your next oil change
overall to conclude i would say it your father wants a bike and he is a calm rider look no forward and even if you are a calm rider you will love this bike but don't buy this bike to abuse because it cant be abused it will abuse you instead (pun intended)
