Honda CD 70 Gear Shifting Sound Tak Tak

Assalam-O-Alaikum
Dear PW members, I am facing a problem in my Honda CD 70 from the first day of purchase. Whenever I shift the gears, it gives a Tuk Sound like the clutch has been pressed half. The bike has been driven 18000 Km and has been maintained/tuned by Authorized Honda Service Center.
Any Solution to this problem?

i think that sounds normal . does your bike move when clutch is fully pressed ? if so , get your clutch wire adjusted by some mechanic

Bhai this is a genuine fault in almost entire line-up of AHL. I have CD 70 as well and its 7000 kms driven as of today and this tak sound was present since day one.

Visit your nearest Honda showroom and there start any 70 motorcycle then you will amaze that all new bikes have some issue...
No need to worry and don't waste your money on repairing. Just live with it or leave it...

My bike does not move if the clutch is pressed and it is in gear.

You are right, it looks that its manufacturing fault, but there must be some solution for it by the company

No need to worry and don't waste your money on repairing. Just live with it or leave it...

There is no other option to avail in 70CC category because there is no other good durable and reliable bike other than honda, so let us bear with it.

i have same fault in my bike since purchase the only things helps to reduce gear shifting sound is for me
1. change rear drum rubbers.
2. change both front and rear sprocket.
3. adjust the clutch setting.
it reduce 50-70% gear shifting "tak tak" noise but not completely eliminate the sound.

You are right, it looks that its manufacturing fault, but there must be some solution for it by the company

AHL use to take claims for it until 2013 if i am not wrong. They however stopped now saying this is not a fault but this much noise is present and there is no solution to it as it will require complete engine open. What you can however do is to try different clutch settings. Moreover with Havoline 20W50 i have noticed minimum gear noise.

Sir mery pass hero rf 70 2010 model hy us ka problem ye hy k gear change krty waqt sound ata hy ur atakty hy clutch ko tight kry to bike start nh hota or lose kry to gear problem krty hy bike ki pick bhi bht kum 2 bndy bethy to bhagta nh hy bilkul or awaz ziada ati hy engine what is the problem???

I also have same issue but issue solved when you set your clutch wire when left clutch to much lose it produce sound also it produce when your clutch wire is tight from that specific point

Thats the solution, if clutch is not set proper, every honda react same
